With a modest budget, this loft renovation for a jewelry and book designer focused on "furniture" as the primary architectural strategy. Minimal partitions and full height cabinetry generate a functional 2 bedroom loft with a generous bathing room designed as a glass tiled pool environment. Gently angled closet blocks and millwork create subtle geometric dislocations and spatial slippage within the conventional orthogonal loft environment. Designed and built while working at Leeser Architecture.
